Hi everybody,
I have set up a C-MOR and installed a LevelOne camera. All worked out straight forward, but the camera detects motion all the time even there is no motion to see in the recording.
Is this a bug?

Re: Motion alarm even there is no motion!
Hi Benny,
Did you see the parameters in the camera configuration menu to reduce false motion detection? There is a parameter called Threshold. This value must be set according to the size of your camera picture and the size of the objects which should trigger motion alarm.
What camera are you using?

I have a Level1 5051. I did'nt know about this parameter. What shall I set it? It was set to 1000. I set to 10000 but still feels like C-MOR makes too much motion recordings.
Re: Motion alarm even there is no motion!
You have to play with this parameter. Higher value means less motion detection. The Threshold value 1000 works usually with camera pics with 640x480 pixels. The FCS-5051 from Level1 has in FullHD mode the resolution 1980x1080 which is about 6 times bigger. A threshold with 10.000 should work out ok. If not then scroll down in the camera configuration page and look at the black/white picture mask which yhou could upload to reduce false motion detection. This will for sure help.
