Problem VMware Installation

Post by supportrequest »

Hi, I have a problem. I am using VMWare. I have followed the PDF installation Guide closely as I could considering that it is a bit different. I have removed the ISO and restarted the CMOR VM and now the problem: It stops because it is " waiting for device/dev/sdal to appear:......not found----exiting to /bin/sh" That is as far as it gets. Please help.

Which version of C-MOR did you try?

Versions before 3.713(1) need an IDE Disk in VMware. The current version from www.c-mor.com does not need that.

If you have an older version, remove the standard scsi disk and add an IDE disk. You can select the IDE type in the 2nd step when you add a disk.
