Camera access without web browser

Is there a way to view the live camera on the computer without a web browser? like in any other application to view just one cam live view?

Hi,

Yes, is is possible. You can use VideoLan, VLC.

e.g.: vlc.exe http://demo:demo99@<your>/l1/ to access the first camera. demo is the username, demo99 the password. The cam URLs for other cams are /l2/ for cam 2 etc.

We use it with shortcuts on the windows deskopt to just watch the live view with an easy double click startup.
