Howdy!

I recently installed a video surveillance system C-MOR6T. I figured I could record a second location over Internet configured through dyndns.org.

However, I can choose collecting only 1 frame a second for recording or 10 frames a second. My DSL line is always 100% full.

Does anybody having an idea what is going wrong? It should not use that much bandwidth when I set 1 frame per second.

Help would be great!

Hi,

What camera are you using on the remote location?

It's an Axis 206 camera.

So what is the URL (configuration) you are using?

C-MOR supports two types for that camera! Single JPEG pictures and MJPEG stream recording.

The MJPEG stream may cause a premanent traffice on your line. The single picture should download, close the connection and start over again.

You you just try switching the URL in the C-MOR camera configuration?

That seems to help! I had the MJPEG stream set up.

I changed it to the single JPEG of the Axis camera and now my line is free.

Thank you!
