How does the picture mask work?

For each camera a picture mask can be uploade. This mask defines
the picture area within no motion will be detected (black area) and
the area within motion will be detected (white area).

The mask is a black and white colored JPG picture. The mask can
be uploaded from your Personal Computer.

The following example show what a mask should look like. Usually
you draw the black area which should not detect motion.

Would you like to blind out a area, like the orange area in this example

then use a grafik programme like Photopaint to generate the mask.

The mask must be a black white JPG picture with the same dimension
as the recorded camera picture (e.g. 640x480 pixel)

This feature is also called electronic fence. Outside the white area no
motion will be detected.
