False video alarming

Hello all,

It looks like the motion detection of C-MOR does not work very well. I'm monitoring the entrance of our corporation. There a bushes in the camera picture. Since we had some windy days I got tons of motion detection alarms with nobody in the video.

This is an error? Do I need external, real motion detectors?

Hello Tim,

Bushes are very often the reason for negative motion alarms. Did you see there is an easy way to avoid such negative alarms with the motion detection mask in the camera configuration?

Allright. It works. I draw the mask in my Windows 7 Paint and uploaded it as the mask of the respective camera. No more problem with the wind.
