Hi there,
Since a while I'm checking the news on C-MOR. But there is no indication C-MOR is moving forward instead of some software maintenance updates. Currently I'm looking forward to install a new video surveillance system. SSD seems to be state of the art. Since C-MOR runs on Linux, does C-MOR support SSDs? Or can it simply be installed on SSD or will it harm it?

Doesn't C-MOR support SSD (disks)?

Hello,
C-MOR Video Surveillance can be installed on SSD. We have no long-long-long time feedback on the life of SSD disks from customers. Some where installed with modifications in the OS. Please use the support form if you want to use a SSD and if you want to install C-MOR directly on it.
We plan to integrate SSD optimization features in the future releases.

I can vouch that you cannot use an SSD as the version of Debian Linux used has no supporting drivers, but only for conventional spinning HDD drives. I tried for a whole day to install and all attempts failed
