IP Camera HTTPS Support Update

Post by support »

With C-MOR Version 5.21PL01 an update for HTTPS MJPEG stream camears has been released. This update is needed for IP cameras which support HTTPS with the newer standards TLS1.2 and higher, but do not support a fall back to SSL V2 or V3. It might happen your camera is no longer supported by C-MOR once you update the firmware of your camera.

With the update to V5.21PL01 the newer SSL/TLS standards are supported. However, if you install the update but your camera only supports SSL V2 or V3 it will no longer work with the new HTTPS C-MOR update. C-MOR has therefor released a hotfix and a downgrade for version 5.21 which could be installed free without an subscription. Both ways ware supported: the upgrade/hotfix to the newer HTTPS support and backwards the downgrade.

Please use the following settings for the hotfix installation:

Username: httpshotfix
Password: httpshotfix
Path /updates/v5/hotfix-https-cams

Please use the following settings for the downgrade installation:

Username: httpsdowngrade
Password: httpsdowngrade
/updates/v5/downgrade-https-cams

Please contact our support through the C-MOR Video Surveillance support form if you have questions regarding HTTPS support of your camera!
