1. The C-Mor user manual briefly mentions using the Cam Syslog Event area, which is located in the camera configuration section. Since a system can potentially have many cameras, is there a reason why the syslog event trigger is associated with a particular camera, rather than for the whole system? (For example, I could envisage different cameras being triggered by different syslog messages - and some not being triggered at all.)
2. Temperature monitoring is mentioned in your documentation in the context of using the Allnet ALL4000, yet the Barionet 50 is also capable of monitoring temperature. Is there any way you know to get the temperature data from the Barionet 50 the the C-Mor screen, just as with the ALL4000?

Re: Using the Barionet 50
Hi,
The cam syslog event uses the syslog mechanism. It should be used in conjunction with a identification string. Syslog messages should look like
"alarm camera 1"
-> to have camera 1 turning motion recording on
"alarm camera 2"
-> turning camera 2 on.
The text can be freely choosen, but should be unique for each camera.
C-MOR can flash the temperature from a Barionet 50 as well. The online demo, camera 2, uses a Barionet. But it needs an extra temperature-capture program to collect the data and to flash it into the video.
Best regards,
Michael

Re: Using the Barionet 50
Michael,
Thank you for your reply. The syslog trigger mechanism works as I thought.
Regarding the display of temperature measured by the Barionet 50, could you point me to documentation showing how it may be done?
Specifically, is the extra program you refer to a piece of Barix Control Language (BCL) or something extra running in the C-Mor VM? If you are referring to BCL, how is the data transmitted to the C-Mor and then displayed in a video image?
Best wishes.

Re: Using the Barionet 50
Hi,
The is no documentation for the flashing temperature values into the video. We offer this as a one time service only.
The customer tells us the IP information of the Barionet and we are setting up a download file which reads the data and flashes it.
